By-Laws
The By-Laws are designed to allow the Executive to establish general operations of THBS for matters concerning, membership fees, lane fees, schedules, and amending Prescribed forms, among others. Each year in June, the newly elected Executive review these By-Laws (as ammended at the GMM October 2011) and may make amendments in the interest of the league operations. Any new or amended By-Laws are then in effect begining in September, reviewed at the October General Membership meeting for approval, where any or all can be recinded or amended by those attending the meeting, whereby the previous years By-Laws are then in effect.
Constitution
THBS is governed by a Constitution which establishes the conduct and procedures of the Society, the Executive and all its members. The Constitution was established by the membership to define the League Operations. The executive members are nominated and elected by you to oversee general operations of the league as outlined in the Constitution. A copy of the Constitution can be obtained here (as amended at the GMM October 2011) or you can request a copy from an Executive Member. The prescribed forms are "samples only" and are amended from year to year as needed, per the By-Laws, to reflect current information. Please familiarize yourself with these documents. If you wish to become an Executive Member, nominations for election take place each year in February.
NOTE: The Consitution & By-Laws were recently reformatted for easier printing. This is a single document with both the Constitution & By-Laws combined. Set your printer for two sided printing to reduce paper waste and benefit from the new format. You may print all or just the pages you want by setting the print page #'s.

Executive Elections
Nominations for THBS Elections:
The Elections Committee is made up of THBS members who volunteer, are in good standing and are familiar with our Constitution & By-Laws and are NOT on the Executive. They control all aspects of the Elections and guided by the Executive when the need arises.
Prescribed Form B, Nomination Form (as updated for the 2012-2013 season) can be obtained from the Elections Committee or printed off the Web Site and submitted to the Elections Committee for verification. See Section 12 of the Constitution for full details. Members must be in good standing through out the election period or to nominate, second or be a nominee. A nominee cannot nominate another member.
